Lorenzo Finn in vetta dopo il sigillo nella cronoscalata

Lorenzo Mark Finn conferma i pronostici e si prende la quinta tappa del Tour de l’Avenir 2026. L’azzurro domina la cronoscalata di 11,4 chilometri da Les Carroz a Flaine, chiudendo in 25’47”29 e infliggendo distacchi pesanti a tutti i principali rivali.

Il portacolori della Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe Rookies detta subito il ritmo e fa segnare il miglior tempo già all’intermedio. La sua azione diventa progressivamente più incisiva nella parte decisiva della salita, fino a trasformare la prova in un autentico assolo. Alle sue spalle chiudono il francese Ugo Fabriès, staccato di 34”, e il belga Niels Driesen, terzo a 58” e costretto a cedere la maglia gialla.

Più lontani gli altri candidati alla classifica generale: Matteo Vanhuffel è quarto a 1’06”, mentre il brasiliano Henrique Bravo paga 1’11”. Grazie al successo, Finn balza al comando della generale con 58” su Driesen e 1’36” su Haugland, mettendo una seria ipoteca sulla vittoria finale.
